About Me

My name is Sirena and I am currently a junior transfer student at the University of California Davis. My major is political science and I’m minoring in education as well.

My ultimate goal is to attend law school after receiving my undergraduate degree. Since I am almost going into my senior year I have spent a lot of time researching law schools and learning more about the field of law. I like to go on the internet from time to time and just look through different requirements law schools have. By looking at these requirements it helps give me an idea of what I should be doing to get into that law school, whether it be attaining a certain GPA or having an internship at a law firm. Additionally, I find current law students blogs very helpful because they share their first-hand experiences in school. All in all, my research has helped me become more of an expert on the process of applying to law school and the life as a law student. By looking at other students’ experiences and their research it helps save your own time researching all the questions you might have. Also, I feel that reading blogs are way more personal than reading a schools requirements or other formal writing about law school.
